Bruce was born and raised the eldest son on his families Jersey farm in Enniskillen, Ontario. From a young age, he was very interested in computers and technology. During high school, he became very involved in communications technology and decided to pursue a degree in Marketing Management at the University of Guelph.
During first year at the U of G, Bruce started Farm Boy Productions, a media production company specializing in on-farm video and photography. During second year he worked in the Office of Research creating videos to promote research by U of G professors. This lead to a summer job at Syngenta and a multiyear contract for Farm Boy Productions. By graduation, Bruce had enough business to operate full time.
When he wakes up early to catch a plane, fly a drone, or get to a breakfast meeting, Bruce is filled with joy knowing that he brings digital solutions to the companies he works with. His passions for farming reaches beyond work and the home farm, Bruce regularly volunteers with local and provincial 4-H programs. He grows some of the most beautiful roses in his garden in memory of his grandmother.
Bruce is the original Farm Boy, a true entrepreneur from a young age. And as his business continues to grow, he’s reminded of how far Farm Boy Pro has come.
